Online SVG to STL Converter

Drop an SVG file to turn it into a 3D model ready to print. Choose the size, a height for each color and an optional base plate, and download the STL. Everything runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded.

How to convert SVG to STL

  1. 1

Drag your SVG file onto the box above, or click it to choose a file.

  2. 2

Set the final width in millimeters: the height scales automatically.

  3. 3

Give each color its own height to create a relief, or set a color to 0 to leave it out.

  4. 4

Turn on the base plate for signs, badges and keychains, and adjust its thickness and margin.

  5. 5

Download a single STL, or one STL per color in a ZIP file for multicolor printing.

Ideas to print

  1. 1

Logos and brand signs for a desk, a shop window or a booth.

  2. 2

    Name tags, badges and keychains.

  3. 3

Cookie cutters and stamps from a simple outline.

  4. 4

Wall art and reliefs with several heights.

  5. 5

Stencils and templates for painting or engraving.

Multicolor printing, made easy

Overlapping shapes in an SVG are cut so that each color only keeps what you actually see. The pieces fit together without overlapping, which is exactly what multicolor printers such as Bambu Lab AMS or Prusa MMU need.

Download the ZIP, import all the STL files at once into your slicer as a single object and assign a filament to each color.

Getting the best results

The converter uses the filled shapes of the SVG. Lines without fill and text that has not been converted to outlines are ignored: in Inkscape use “Object to Path” or “Stroke to Path”, and in Illustrator “Create Outlines”.

Gradients are printed in a single color, and very thin details may be too small to print at a small size.

Frequently asked questions

Is the SVG to STL converter free?

Yes. You can convert files for free, without an account and without watermarks.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The SVG is converted entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.

Why is part of my drawing missing?

Only filled shapes are converted. Convert lines and text to paths in your design program (“Stroke to Path”, “Object to Path” or “Create Outlines”) and try again.

Can I give each color a different height?

Yes. Each color of the SVG has its own height field. Set it to 0 to leave that color out of the model, for example a white background.

How do I print it in several colors?

Download the ZIP with one STL per color, import all the files together into your slicer as one object and assign a filament to each part.

What size will the model be?

SVG files have no real units, so you choose the final width in millimeters. The height of the drawing is scaled in proportion.
