Online OBJ Viewer
Drop an OBJ file to view it in 3D and check its dimensions. It works in your browser: nothing is uploaded.
How to open an OBJ file online
- 1
Drag your OBJ file onto the box above, or click it to choose a file.
- 2
Rotate the model by dragging, zoom with the mouse wheel or a pinch, and pan with the right button or two fingers.

What is an OBJ file?
OBJ (Wavefront) is one of the oldest and most widely supported 3D formats. It is a plain text file with the vertices and faces of a model, and it can reference a separate .mtl file with materials and textures.
Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Unity, Unreal and almost every 3D program can open and export it, which makes it a common choice to share models.
Units and orientation
OBJ files do not store units, so millimeters are assumed, as in 3D printing software. They are usually modeled with Y up: the viewer turns them so they stand on the grid, and you can rotate them 90° if a file uses another convention.
