Online STL to GLB Converter
Drop an STL file to preview it in 3D and download it as GLB, the format for 3D on the web and augmented reality. Everything runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded.

What the GLB includes
The GLB contains the mesh with shared vertices and a neutral material, in meters and with Y up as the glTF standard requires. It does not store normals: viewers compute flat ones, which is how a mechanical part should look, and the file stays smaller.
You can open it in Three.js, Babylon.js, model-viewer, Blender, Windows 3D Viewer and most AR tools.
Frequently asked questions
Is the STL to GLB converter free?
Yes. You can convert files for free, without an account and without watermarks.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
What is the difference between GLB and glTF?
They are the same format: glTF can be split into several files, while GLB packs everything into one binary file, easier to share.
Will the model keep its real size?
Yes. The STL is taken as millimeters and saved in meters, the unit of glTF, so it shows at its real size in AR.
Can I choose the color?
The GLB is exported with a neutral material. You can change its color or add textures in Blender or in your web viewer.
